From “Frozen Fever,” to “Star Wars: Episode VIII,” and the recent addition of “Captain America: Civil War,” the Marvel Cinematic Universe has continued to expand.
With the release of “Thor: Ragnarok,” the next two films in the MCU franchise are set to expand the scope of the franchise.
And, as Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige put it, the “next six films are a massive expansion of the MCI.”
But which of these characters do we have in the works?
Below, check out which of the Marvel heroes we know have been in the movies:Thor Ragnarok is set to be released on November 3, 2019.
The character of Loki will be a key part of the film, but Thor will also make a cameo in “Captain Marvel,” which will be released in 2020.
And in “Black Panther,” we will see a new version of the character named Tyke, who will appear in the film in 2020 and 2021.
Captain Marvel will be set to debut in 2019, and will see the introduction of the Scarlet Witch and the Vision, two characters previously seen in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films.
“Black Widow” will be the first superhero film to include a female-centric character, and “Captain Underpants” will follow the events of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
Black Panther will debut in 2021.
The Black Widow will be introduced in 2019 as the daughter of Steve Rogers and a member of the Avengers.
She will join her father in the final showdown between the Avengers and the villainous Captain America.
In “Thor Ragnarok,” a female character will play the role of Black Widow, a member with superpowers and the protector of a world threatened by a dark presence.
She is introduced in 2020 as a member and the first of the Black Widow’s allies, who helps to fight a dark, powerful force in the comics.
The Avengers will take the form of Thor and Captain America, who fight alongside the Avengers against the alien invaders called the Surtur.
She appears in 2021 as a part of Captain America’s side of the team.
Avenger: Age, featuring a new iteration of Black Panther, will be in theaters on May 3, 2021.
While “Captain Earth” will see its first major movie appearance in 2020, “The Avengers: Age Of Ultron” will take place two years after “Thor.”
And the movie will introduce a new character named Quicksilver, who is a member in the Avengers alongside Iron Man and Captain Marvel.
Captain America will be appearing in 2021 and 2021 in the sequel “Ant-Man,” which is set in 2020 in the Marvel Universe.
The film will also introduce the first Black Panther.
In the film “The Incredible Hulk,” he will be portrayed by the Black Panther and his mentor and mentor’s son, Erik Selvig.
Meanwhile, “Thor” is set for release in 2021, and the film will see an alternate version of Loki, the Norse god of mischief.
In “Thor,” he makes his debut in 2020 during a confrontation with Thor in Asgard, where he steals the Tesseract from Odin and is captured by Odin.
In 2021, he escapes from his prison by traveling to New York City and takes on Loki’s guise as The Ancient One, who takes control of the Hulk and begins to wreak havoc on the world.
In addition to his own appearance, Loki will appear as a new member of Avengers.
In the Marvel universe, there are three versions of each character.
The first incarnation of each will be known as the “Human” or “X-Men” version, and he or she will be an Avenger.
The second version will be called the “Antagonist” or the “Villain” version.
The third version is the “Hero” or an “Anti-Hero” version of each of the other two.
The heroes and villains of the third version will have some sort of connection to one another, such as Loki being one of the heroes of “Antman.”
In 2019, Marvel Studios will introduce the third and final version of Thor.
And Thor will be featured as an Avenger in 2020 on “Marvel’s The Avengers: Infinity War.”
