New York, New York – New York’s new “tent City” will be built in an area called “the heart of the city” to serve as a “living breathing” hub for residents of the New York area who want to take advantage of the World Trade Centre’s amenities, according to a New York Times report.
The development was first revealed by the Times in May, but the plans have been delayed until a new project is announced.
The Times’ report claims the new tent city will consist of eight floors, each with a two-bedroom house and three bedroom bunkhouse.
The Times reports that the new buildings will be built next to “the World Trade Centers Center and the North Tower”.
The Times said it is not clear how many of the new structures will be used for residents or development, but it does state that the new buildings will include a hotel, a public park, the offices of the World Financial Group, and a bespoke health spa.
More to come…
