In an effort to reduce the risk of plumbing leaks, the NFL has banned players from wearing Applewood and has asked the league to conduct a nationwide inspection of Applewood’s entire plumbing system.
According to the league, Applewood is used to provide piping for the stadium roof and for piping in other facilities.
The company is expected to make a profit on the plumbing work.
Applewood piping can be inspected at home or by a professional plumber.
The league said it was aware of no incidents of Appleglows being used improperly, and that the inspection process will be similar to the one that is used for the league’s standard inspection of all football facilities.
